Top Five Favorite Movie Scenes

5.Dumbo - When I See An Elephant Fly

I like how racist this is without an ounce of obvious negative intent. I miss the times when people didn't worry so much about being politically correct. I also love this song.

4 Before Sunset - Car to the Airport

This one got me good. I don't know if it had to do with me or the movie. It's just really amazing how these two actors are able to pull something like this off. This movie and the one before it have many, many good scenes but this is classic.

3.Pulp Fiction - Adrenaline Shot

This one has sentimental value. I saw this in the theater with my parents when I was way too young to be seeing it. It was the single greatest movie experience I've had because my Mom and Dad could not have been more uncomfortable the whole 3 hours of this movie. This is the scene where my Mom tried to make me leave the theater. When she finally gets the needle in the heart my Mom just said "That's it. We're leaving." I wouldn't go. So, instead of making a scene in a crowded theater we sat through the rest.

2. Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Parade

I was recently discussing with someone whether or not it's possible for one person to achieve all the things in this movie in one day. This scene is burned into memory as the single greatest implausible movie moment just because it's so damn entertaining to watch.

1. Temple of Doom - Rope Bridge Finale

Oh sweet Lord, is this awesome. As if Harrison Ford wasn't enough of a badass. First, the way the guy who plays Mola Ram acts through this whole movie is brilliant but this is the icing on the cake. I love the line "They will be found! You wont!". Then when Indy cuts the rope he actually screams out "What are you doing?!" Priceless. Indy's line "Prepare to meet Cali... in Hell!" is just about the greatest thing ever. And the best part about this is that there's NO FUCKING WAY ANY OF THEM COULD HAVE SURVIVED THIS. Kudos to all of you involved in the making of this.

Runners Up:

I couldn't find the scene from Return of the Jedi where Lando Calrissian blows up the death star. Or from Forrest Gump where Forrest talks to Jenny's Grave, that one always gets me. Also....

It's embarrassing but I love this for some reason.
